Most projects fall around $300/minute of finished music, with complex full orchestral/hybrid scores closer to $500/minute. Every project is unique, so final pricing depends on scope and deliverables. Projects require a $500 minimum regardless of length. I’m only able to take on a select number of collaborations each year, so reaching out early gives us the best chance to work together.
The Process
Every project is a little different, but here’s what it usually looks like when we team up to bring your story to life through music:
1. Getting in Touch
It all starts with you filling out the contact form. From there, I’ll take a look at your project details and get back to you.
2. Discovery Call
We’ll hop on a short call to talk about your project. This is our chance to see if we’re a good fit and to make sure I can capture the vision you have in mind.
3. Spotting & Creative Planning
For game developers: We’ll dive into your characters, worlds, and story arcs so I can start developing motifs and musical ideas that bring them to life.
For filmmakers: We’ll set up a spotting session, mapping out key moments where music can enhance the emotional beats and visuals on screen.
4. Writing the Music
This is where I roll up my sleeves and start composing. I’ll send you rough sketches and drafts along the way so you can make sure the music is lining up with the sound you imagined. Your feedback here is crucial — we’ll revise as needed until it feels just right.
5. Final Delivery
Once you’re happy with the music, I’ll prep and send all of the deliverables you need — WAV files, stems, sheet music if required — ready for you or your team to drop right into your project.
